What’s New This Season
Fresh colors, new membranes, and safety updates for 25–26.
New women’s colorways across shells & insulation—seasonal palettes that pair cleanly with black shells and neutral pants.
Freeride & alpine shells move to PFAS-free GORE-TEX ePE (Eiger Free / Eiger Nordwand HS): full storm protection, lighter hand.
Deep-cold addition: Eiger Nordwand Pro Down IN Parka (Women)—Mammut’s warmest coat for true cold snaps and exposure.
Heritage collab: Nigel Cabourn × Mammut “Direttissima” capsule—classic alpinism aesthetics with modern materials.Mammut Women’s Ski Jackets, Insulation & Safety (2025–26)
Eiger Free Advanced HS — Women (GORE-TEX ePE)
PFAS-free hardshell for storm laps, resort, and sidecountry. Slightly softer freeride cut than Nordwand, with full storm protection from lighter GORE-TEX ePE that layers cleanly over a mid.
Good pairings: Aenergy IN midlayer; Mammut freeride bibs; thin wool base.

Eiger Nordwand Pro HS — Women (GORE-TEX ePE)
PFAS-free hardshell for above-treeline exposure and steep terrain. Burlier alpine patterning and features for wind, rime, and sustained weather. If you chase mid-week storms and hike-to lines, start here.
Good pairings: Warm midlayer; alpine bibs; balaclava; beefier gloves.

Eiger Nordwand Pro Down IN Hooded Parka — Women, black.
Ultra-warm belay/exposure parka built to layer over your shell. Purpose-built for deep-cold. Pertex Quantum Pro face fabric, high-loft hydrophobic down, and Mammut’s Wall baffle construction create serious insulation that you can throw on over your shell for belays, photo days, hut approaches, or chairlift breaks when temperatures plunge.
When to use it: This is a belay/exposure parka you pull over your shell when you’re stopped: frigid chairlift rides, transitions, belays, hut approaches, photo stops, or town.
Fit & sizing: intentionally roomy to fit over a hardshell and midlayer. If you plan to wear it as a standalone piece around town, consider your usual size. For mountain use, stick with the over-shell fit.
Good pairings: Eiger Free shell; Aenergy IN midlayer; wool base; insulated mitts.

Collab Spotlight: Mammut × Nigel Cabourn (AW25)
Direttissima IN Jacket (red puffy)
Direttissima Blanket Jacket (grey with red stripe)
Heritage textures that layer cleanly with your technical kit. A heritage‑driven capsule that honors Michiko Imai—the only woman on the 1969 Japanese Direttissima ascent of the Eiger’s North Face. The unisex collection blends vintage alpine silhouettes with modern tech. Think Ventile‑style cotton, Scottish wool, and Swiss‑blanket cues reworked for today.
Pieces I’d layer with my women’s kit
Direttissima IN Jacket — a warm, vintage‑inspired puffy that slots over a base and under your shell on cold resort laps or travel days.
Direttissima Blanket Jacket — cozy, statement outer layer for lodge, town, and shoulder‑season trips; pairs cleanly with Stoney pants or black softshells.
Style notes
Use the collab pieces as your top layer for travel/après, then switch to your technical women’s shell (Eiger Free/Nordwand or Stoney) when the weather turns. The fabrics and colors add personality without sacrificing function.

How I’d Build My Mammut Women’s Ski Kit
Three simple setups: resort, storm, touring.
Resort, cold & windy
My default kit: Eiger Free (or Nordwand) shell over Aenergy IN + thin wool base; breathable bibs or Stoney pants. I run hot—shell + layers works most days. Stoney HS Thermo comes out for super‑cold snaps.Storm day/freeride
Eiger Free (or Nordwand for bigger terrain) shell + Aenergy IN mid + breathable bibs. Add a lightweight balaclava and beefier gloves.Touring
For low‑angle tours below treeline: shell up top over a breathable base + Aenergy mid, light pack, skins—no airbag needed; keep layers trim and stashable. For avalanche terrain above treeline: bring the full kit—Barryvox 2, shovel, probe—and consider a RAS airbag pack sized to your load. Check the avalanche forecast and practice with partners.
