Southern Utah

I left Moab, finally. I was there a month, and I was itching to see more.

I was headed to Capitol Reef National Park.

The drive there was something else once you got off I-70. It was remote. The landscape changed from red to gray concrete, purples, greens, and light tan. But in some areas, the rock was not only gray but also looked like concrete. It was so surreal and eerie. This trip to Utah has really gotten me thinking about planet Earth. How old is it, and how does it move over time? When we are in the cities, I don’t think we really think about it. I didn’t. Below are some untouched pictures from my drive to Capitol Reef National Park.
