I have been on the road since January 1, 2026, starting in Birmingham, Alabama.

One thing I have noticed is that I don't feel like I have driven that far, although I have. I think it is because I sit in one place for at least two weeks when I get there. I like that. I really get a feel for an area. I don't feel like a tourist.

The one place that I am in awe of is Utah. I have been to Utah before to ski in Park City. But I am talking about the desert land of red rocks, monuments that stand tall but isolated, sand dunes that are now petrified and known as slickrock. I love it here so much. It is such a beautiful place. Pictures or movies that were filmed here do it no justice.
