My tent lighting setup with multiple Mini Hozuki Lanterns strung across camp using a daisy chain.

Setup 1: Inside the Tent

This is my go-to combo for reading, organizing gear, or winding down in the tent.

  • Black Diamond Moji+ Lantern: Hangs from the tent loop or rests in the corner—just enough glow without being harsh.

  • Snow Peak Mini Hozuki's: Clip-on design makes it easy to hang from gear loops or pockets, featuring adjustable brightness and a warm tone. I love the little lights. You can clip them anywhere with ease.

Setup 2: Around Camp for Dinner + Night Tasks

When I’m cooking or just hanging out by the campfire, I set up a few lights for visibility and mood.

  • Snow Peak Daisy Chain + Mini Hozuki Lights: String the Daisy Chain between trees or poles and clip Hozukis along the line. Instant vibe.

  • Black Diamond Apollo Lantern (Table Use): Sturdy and bright enough for tabletop use or gear sorting. Great for bigger setups.

Setup 3: Hands-Free Navigation

Whether I’m heading to the restroom or checking something in the dark, I rely on this one.

  • Black Diamond Spot 400 Headlamp: Bright, adjustable beam that stays in place. Reliable for quick trips and small setups.
